                EVERYONE IS DIFFERENT!  That’s something that has been stated since the beginning of time and something that will NEVER change.  People have different tastes in the types of cars we drive, the houses we live in, and the toys we enjoy.  Our name says it all, Carts Gone Wild! Our goal is to create golf carts that help our customers express their personalities and meet their needs to create personal enjoyment! Some people like to play golf, others enjoy camping, and even more simply enjoy cruising the neighborhood.  As individuals, we choose different ways to express ourselves.  Some individuals are conservative and chose classic things that look great but are mild in expression.  Others chose to be BOLD!  Whether you’re a businessperson looking to advertise your company, an individual looking to show your personality, or someone who wants a golf cart that simply meets your needs, WE CAN HELP!

                All of our golf carts can be customized in many different ways. How we express ourselves can be unique to each vehicle.  Obviously, there are several different brands of golf carts.  Each has its own positives and negatives.  In this blog, we have decided to look at the different accessories and options that can be added to these golf carts:

CUSTOM SEATS & SEAT COVERS

                One of the easiest ways to make a golf cart stand out is to add custom seats.  Lazy Life Luxury Seats offers a variety of different styles, colors & materials that fit many different brands of carts.  Custom seats come in 2 main categories: seat covers or new seat assemblies. Seat covers drastically change the look of the cart while maintaining the original cushions and are very affordable. New seat assemblies completely change the look of the seat with entirely new cushions in a variety of layouts and cushion options.  Some of Lazy Life’s options include: Bucket Style Seats, Custom High Back Seats, Bench Style Seats, and many more.  The color patterns can be selected in multiple patterns and layouts.  For the rear facing seat you can either go with new custom seats, or a matching rear seat cover to add a pop of color to your cart.

                These seats and covers can be designed with different materials and patterns. SAFETY FEATURES

                Many cities and towns have begun passing ordinances allowing golf cart usage inside their limits.  These ordinances come with restrictions & requirements that increase golf cart safety.  At Carts Gone Wild, we are committed to providing a safe product for you and your family! Seatbelts, side mirrors, head and taillights, turn signals and windshields are all additions we suggest, and many cities and towns REQUIRE.  Though these items don’t add a ton of style to your vehicle, in the event of an accident, they may be what keep you safe! Always keep in mind that golf carts share the roadways with motor vehicles.  Golf carts are smaller and hard to see! Equip your cart with the proper safety equipment to keep you and your family safe!

CUSTOM BODY

                Carts Gone WILD!  It’s in our name, WILD! A custom body is where you can set yourself apart from all the others! The possibilities of custom body designs are endless.  Custom airbrushed bodies that depict your favorite beach theme, military themes to represent years of service, carts with your favorite characters, your company logo as advertisement, or carts with the logo of your favorite sports teams. Not only can bodies be airbrushed, but custom paint jobs are available also!  If you have a color that is partial to you, we can make it happen.  Bodies can be painted to match cars, boats, RVs, houses or any other items you may desire. 

We aren’t limited to paint! Bodies can be changed to make carts look new. If you have an older cart that runs well, but needs a fresh look, a colored body from Custom Golf Car Supply may be what you need.  These bodies are gel coated and come in high gloss and metallic finishes.  Don’t like the look of a standard golf cart body? Not a problem! Some aftermarket body kits like the Vortex, Alpha Body, or even car inspired bodies are all options!  And as you can imagine, all are offered in different color choices.  Carts Gone Wild has a full selection that can make your older cart look brand new or add a level of spice to your new ride!

LIFT KITS

                Everyone has a different objective when purchasing a golf cart.  Those who use their carts for camping or off-road applications, a lift kit is the perfect addition.  Lift kits come in different sizes depending on the brand and style of your vehicle. Some carts such as the Yamaha Adventurer comes with a standard 2” lift and off-road tires.  Club Car Onwards are offered in both lifted and non-lifted versions.  Star EV Sirius electric carts offer the comfort of a luxury ride in a lifted vehicle.  At CGW we have Certified Reconditioned Club Car Precedents with 4” and 6” lifts currently on our showroom floor. There are a variety of different lift kits on the market in these size ranges for almost every make and model. These lift kits, when paired with brush guards and fender flares, offer the look of an off-road vehicle.  These carts provide more ground clearance and make it easier when traveling on trails or non-traditional road applications.  If you use your golf cart for camping, hunting, or just like the look of a lifted vehicle we have items to meet your expectations.  Be sure when picking one out you use one that is trusted to deliver the look, safety and performance you are looking for. With the popularity of golf cart growing, we have seen some inferior products on the market especially in this category.

CUSTOM WHEELS

                Custom wheels are nearly essential on a personalized golf cart.  Wheels are where you can add the “BLING” to your vehicle.  We have custom wheels offered in sizes ranging from 10”, 12”, 14” & even 15”!  The appearance of your cart can be drastically changed by adding 14” custom wheels with 20” Low Pro Tires.  Just like custom bodies, options for wheels are also endless!  Chrome, Black Chrome, Machined, & painted are just a few of the colors that can be selected.  Custom wheels can set your cart apart!

CUSTOM STEREOS

                Just recently, CGW began offering Wet Sounds stereo equipment!  If music is a big part of your enjoyment while using your vehicle, the Wet Sounds system if perfect.  Depending on the brand of your cart, the Wet Sounds head unit can mount in the cup holder or in a custom dash.  Kicker speaker can mount overhead with custom pods.  This system is an AM/FM receiver along with a Bluetooth unit in one.  Should you not have a need for AM/FM, a sound bar may be your choice.  If you prefer to listen to XM, Pandora, iTunes or another app through your phone, we have that option available too!  Stereo systems can be designed to fit your needs.
